NOW is the Time to Fundraise

As experienced by many, the pandemic has brought challenging times to Philanthropica. Over the past months we have seamlessly transitioned to support our clients remotely and continued to provide our full range of services.

To help non-profits navigate the uncertainty we published a blog series, Fundraising in the Time of Coronavirus, providing guidance on how to adapt, innovate and strategically plan as the pandemic progresses.

During these changing times it has never been more important to stay in close contact with your donors – to show you care and let them know how your organization is adapting. Also, evaluating your operational strategy, and ensuring your fundraising strategy is diversified enough and digitized to survive the pandemic are critical tasks.

If we can help with any of these challenges, we are here! Contact us today to begin the conversation.

CLIENT NEWS

Over the past four months we’ve had the honour to support our clients in their inspiring and uplifting achievements.  We’re very proud of them and their continued determination in the face of great challenges.

New Chief Executive Officer at the Sylvan Adams YM-YWHA

Philanthropica’s Elizabeth Gomery led the very thorough and successful recruitment of Elyse Rosen as the Sylvan Adams YM-YWHA’s new Chief Executive Officer, who started her new role on July 1, 2020. Congratulations Elyse!

The Spanish & Portuguese Synagogue’s Fundraising Success

Earlier this year, we created a Fundraising Strategic Plan for the Synagogue. With Camilla Leigh’s guidance the Board formed a Fundraising Committee and have had excellent success with the implementation of its Major Donor’s Program. The funds will help the oldest Synagogue in Canada action its strategic plan and manage through the challenges created by the pandemic.

Helping the Global PPE Shortage with Operation Masks

During the Spring as the pandemic’s grip tightened globally, Camilla helped establish Silicon Valley 501c3 start-up Operation Masks. Shipping PPE direct from the factory floor in China to the healthcare frontline, Operation Masks has helped beat down exorbitant global prices and delivered more PPE to the frontline than the US government! We are super proud of our work supporting global healthcare.
